Cindy's Throws carries a wonderful selection of Bob Christie art in woven tapestries, tapestry throws, blankets, wall art and wall hangings. Robert Christie has become one of the best known dog and sporting artists in the South. Because of his love of animals, Bob Christie considered veterinary medicine, but the pull of art proved stronger. After art school his main focus was painting portraits but gradually his work was expanded to include equestrian portraits. After a few a publisher in New York asked him to do a series of hunting dog paintings for his print market. Bob got 'bitten' by the dog, and he has been painting them ever since. Along with painting, he has spent over twenty years training, field trailing, hunt testing, and showing his German Shorthairs. Cindy’s Throws proudly presents Bob Christie in 100% cotton throws, furniture throws and wall hangings made in the USA.
